I've been seeing a lot of fireworks tents lately, and a lot of them have these large, inflatable gorillas that, for whatever reason, have come to represent fireworks and the Fourth of July. Or, is it something else?

Barbarian was a Fence Jumper
I apologize for the lack of posts these days, but, as one can imagine, life here in Bentonville can get quite hectic and I haven't had time to work on the blog. Anyway, about a month ago my wife's co-worker, Ard (http://www.allbookstores.com/author/Ard_Hoyt.html), brought me to his property to see a recently born calf and to feed his cows. The skull in the first picture belonged to Barbarian, a Texas Longhorn and a "real handful" for a new cattleman. Below is a picture of Old Mother cow, Hester, and her new bull calf, Painted Eagle.
